About the Event
Aviation Awareness Day was organized to inspire and educate high school and PYP students about the aviation field and its wide range of career opportunities. The event aimed to break common misconceptions that aviation is limited to pilots and cabin crew, showcasing instead the vast ecosystem of roles within the industry.
Participants were introduced to the Aviation Management major and gained a clearer understanding of future career paths available in the field. To provide a more practical perspective, two guest speakers, Saleh Al-Mosabeh and Sarah Al-Anzi, shared their real-life experiences working in the aviation industry, offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities they encountered.
The event also featured interactive activities, including Kahoot and Family Feud competitions, creating a fun and competitive environment where participants engaged actively and competed for prizes. The event concluded with a recognition ceremony, where we honored our guest speakers as well as students who actively participated in previous club activities.
Overall, the event created an inspiring environment that encouraged students to explore aviation with a broader and more informed perspective.
